Comfort, Karen T.: - Karen currently serves on the ministerial staff at Thankful Baptist Church in Washington, D C, as the Youth Ministry Leader. Reverend Comfort was ordained in May, 2015 and licensed to preach the Gospel in 2013. God's hand was upon Karen's life from a young age. She accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior as a young girl and loved to attend Bible study, prayer service, and sing in the choir. She has a zeal for the things of God-- particularly ministry work. Karen is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Joshua House Ministries, Inc. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Trinity Washington University, in Washington, D C, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and was inducted into both the Alpha Signa Lambda and Lambda Pi Eta National Honor Societies.
