I am honored to write this tribute to Jenean and her courageous chronicle of emotional and sexual abuse and eventually forgiveness. What began as a therapeutic "strategy" of privately documenting her story turned into twenty-five chapters in her riveting book Forgiveness Wins!

Jenean does a superb job of expressing her roller-coaster experience of abuse, shame, guilt, anger, unforgiveness, suicide attempt, compelling faith, and so much more. Though her story at points is difficult to read, it was truly written to bring comfort, hope, and healing to its readers. Have you been abused and you haven't told anyone?
