Everything must face the end

As the human population recovers from the great wars of thirty years ago, the young Nila Straese discovers that she is a descendant from a long lineage of dark mages, both blessed and cursed with the ability to rapidly disintegrate living flesh and matter. In the People's Icen Republic, the mysterious Heldara Valendorf recruits eight new conscripts, eager to continue the path of conquest and attempts at enlightenment that her ancestors started. And in the technologically advanced country of Bayselt, the young commander Bestin Steel attempts to mediate conflict between the two countries.
