Daniel Daianu is an excellent economist with in­depth knowledge in the areas of focus in this financial and economic crisis. He was instrumental in preparing a one­day symposium on the global financial crisis that we held more than a year before Lehman Brothers collapsed – as the first in the European Parliament. In addition, he is the author of a report on the future regulatory and supervisory system in the EU – a topic that will play an important role in the period to come. Daniel Daianu speaks up where he feels it necessary and justified.
