Growing up in Wilmington Delaware in the 70's, TakÁcs always felt like a fish out of water. A product of divorce, troubled school years and utter dissatisfaction with life, TakÁcs left home at 18 to follow a musician to Mexico and spent the next twelve years there searching for a place to fit in, to be herself.

Unsettled with a dissatisfied view of life and three marriages, TakÁcs ambles through life without a plan. From modeling on the beaches in Acapulco to motherhood at a young age, TakÁcs kept moving until her life took root in a small mountain village in Mexico where she was able to finally be comfortable in her own skin.
