Certified EdTech Leadership: The key to growing as a K12 CTO through standards-based best practices

Technology leadership in education takes many shapes and forms. Just the title of the position alone can vary drastically from school to school. The CTO role has changed dramatically since its inception and will continue to evolve as the years go on. The evolution has resulted in rules and ideas that an edtech CTO can use as a guide for success. This book takes the CoSN framework and the ISTE educator leader standards to help edtech leaders approach the different aspects of the technology director position in K-12. These are my interpretations of the standards. They are not officially COSN or ISTE sanctioned. The information contained in this book will help you become a better leader. It will also help you earn the CETL (R) certification if that's what you're looking for.
