Family as Celestial Body

Family as Celestial Body is a collection of poems that wrestles with the far-reaching effects of belonging to a large, complex family. The reader is ushered through a journey of discovery with poems that probe sibling relationships, culture, motherhood, and aging. In language that is metaphorical, questioning, and raw, we come to know a Mestiza mother from the Philippines who arrived in the U.S. as the bride of a G.I. and birthed seven children.
