Introduction to Christian Counseling: Theory and Practice

A text for non-professional Christian counselors. Each chapter includes a brief description of a widely used counseling theory, a verbatim account of a fictitious counseling session and a complete analysis of the verbatim. There is also a theological and biblical reflection of the theory and its practices as well as questions to consider at the end of each chapter.

The author is a Fellow of the American Association of Pastoral Counselors with 20 years experience as both a psychotherapist and a teacher of counseling theory and practice.
