Leaving the chilly labs of Massachusetts, molecular biologist Noor Saeed is heading home. She'll be in Dubai for Ramadan and to meet HighRise, a business incubator open to building Noor's state-of-the-art research facility.

Noor needs to do just one thing: convince one of HighRise's partners, Khalid-a ridiculously handsome and whip-smart venture capitalist-that her lab will be able to pay back what it costs to build.

When she's given only a few days to make her case, Noor enlists her friends to trick Khalid into buying herself more time. But with meddling cousins and Khalid's kindness messing up her plans, Noor's Ramadan nights are slipping by fast...and maybe so is her heart.
