Patel, Shelly M.: - Shelly M. Patel is a new children's book author. A clinical scientist and director of local kids Sunday school based out of Virginia, Shelly loves to engage children in thinking deeper and being more aware of their surroundings. She emphasizes on teaching children how to face life's many adversities while maintaining a positive attitude. Jake has Dyslexia highlights her sons' personal journey with the challenges it accompanies in academia along with millions just like him. Mother of three kids, her focus has always been to ensure her children have the best attitude, love and compassion towards life and others. The mantra of motherhood is teaching kids to a be good and kind human being. Currently, she has completed writing her second book.
