Kirk, Andrae: - Andrae Kirk, a former NFL player for the Arizona Cardinals and current Florida police officer, is the author of Officer Friendly. Born and raised in Miami, he attended Florida Atlantic University, earning degrees in Criminal Justice and Public Administration. With a five-year tenure in law enforcement and a position on the SWAT Team, his understanding of community policing deepened. His experiences inspired him to write this children's book, aiming to foster better interactions between law enforcement and the community. Andrae hopes to nurture young minds, believing that reading can cultivate future leaders who will bring about positive societal changes.
