The Forgiveness Effect: What if the question isn't how but when?

Pickaroon poles. Peavey hooks. Cork boots. What do these tools have in common? This book takes a fascinating look at the life of the river drivers and parallels every aspect of the log drive era with the process of forgiveness. The river drivers possessed certain tools, qualities, and techniques that if applied to our own lives in the area of forgiveness, would transform us from the inside out.

This book is about movement. This book is about navigating the shallows, the sandbars, and the rough waters to get the "logs of unforgiveness" to the place of completion. Starting with the wrong question you've been asking yourself and everyone else: How do I forgive? What if the question isn't how but when?

Francine Westgate uses the compelling analogy of the river driver's life to paint a picture of forgiveness. She uses her own stories of childhood trauma and suffering to show you how your logs can be transformed from darkness to light.

So, do you want to be a river driver?
