Our pursuit in life is for the peak state of "happiness." No peak can be sustained without a heroic encounter with the pit valleys of our lifespan. Heroism helps us "fight the good fight" of Paul against evil and death with courage, humility, faith, and honest realism as we are drawn to the peaks of goodness with empowered love. Our sunrise of birth begins with our moms "fighting the good fight" to endure birth pains and powerlessness. Our sunset of rebirth comes from the defeat of sin and death through God's own sacrifice. The burst of crimson skies reminds us that we are born through a mom's blood for birth and the Messiah's blood for rebirth into the glory of everlasting life. The darkness of our unknown valley is between sunset and sunrise. Here we reflect on the realities of birth and rebirth that every resilience in our lifespan foreshadows with reverent celebration.
