Follow the trail of math puzzles using addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, to defeat their feline nemesis, Count Catulus. It's up to the reader to join the adventure, follow the narrative and work out the answer to each fiendish problem. There are lots of mental-math activities that will test children's numeracy skills, answers to fill in, as well as helpful tips and tricks to learn along the way. Math content includes:
- Introduction to simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, gradually increasing in scope and difficulty
- Partitioning numbers, adding and subtracting money, tricky three-digit sums, fractions
- Multiplication tables, division practice, inverse operations, arrays and much more. Get ready for a swashbuckling math adventure.
