Chemny, Michael: - M. Andrew Holowchak, Ph.D., is a professor of philosophy and history as well as the editor of The Journal of Thomas Jefferson's Life and Times. He is the author and editor of nearly fifty books and over one hundred fifty published essays on topics such as ethics, ancient philosophy, science, psychoanalysis, and critical thinking. Acknowledged by several scholars to be the world's foremost authority on the thinking of Thomas Jefferson, Dr. Holowchak currently focuses his research on Jefferson and has published eleven books and over ninety essays on Jefferson since 2013. He is also the maternal grandson of Michael Chemny.
