In a context marked by rapidly evolving global challenges that affect us all, the collaboration between academia, research, and business can launch innovative solutions, especially about topical issues that have emerged in the context of recent crises: pandemics, hybrid war, climate change, functional illiteracy, ageing/demographic decline. Because Romanian is often classified as a LUL (lesser-used language), the focus of this volume is on the heritage valorization, explicit or implicit, of all the approaches aimed at building resources such as digital editions, specialized corpora, archives, or platforms dedicated to analysis tools adapted to Romanian texts. Capturing linguistic diversity and diachronic evolution, sampling as wide a variety as possible of Romanian texts (written and spoken) and enriching the repertoire of tools adapted to the granularity of Romanian language are the common denominator of the studies brought together here.
