He is the recipient of several literary prizes, including Russia's National "Poet" Prize (2010). His poems have been translated into many languages. He has appeared at international poetry festivals and lectured at leading U.S. universities, including Yale, Harvard, and Princeton. Since 2022, he has lived in Georgia.
