Woodcock, Philip: - Philip Woodcock-Jones was born in Derby and lives with his wife in rural South Derbyshire where they have trained their own horses for dressage.He was educated at Long Eaton Grammar School and was a keen sportsman excelling at cricket. He always held a passion for jump racing and after his marriage he started riding horses himself and became involved in their day to day management. This ignited a desire to become involved in racehorse ownership.Now retired, he previously worked as a sales manager and sales director for two different companies in the field of educational sales and he has also been self-employed.In 2017 he was appointed to the Board of the British Thoroughbred Retraining Centre.
