Normandin, Janet Lynn: - I have been telling this story to children in my classrooms for many years. I am an early childhood educator in Ontario, Canada. I thought it was time for families to enjoy this story in the comfort of their homes. I love to write stories that encourage children to participate in the story telling. That's why this book includes rhyming and repetitive lines. Children love to anticipate and participate in telling the story. I find their favorite form of role play is acting out animals therefore I find the children seem to love all the mischief this fun loving dog gets himself into. I feel this story also sparks a great discussion of the work that goes into caring for any pet. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy telling it! Trent is my 3 year old son.
