Daisy Gumm Majesty has retired her Ouija board-after all, respectable widows don't go around communing with spirits. But when her best client, Mrs. Pinkerton, offers an absurd sum of money for one more séance, Daisy decides she can pretend to talk to ghosts just one more time.

A casual marketplace purchase lands Daisy in the middle of an antiquities smuggling ring, a criminal conspiracy, and-just her luck-another encounter with the ever-grumpy Detective Sam Rotondo, who seems to have followed her across the world.

With a stolen relic in her possession and villains lurking in the shadows, Daisy must summon all her wits (and maybe even a spirit or two) to get out of this mess-preferably without landing in an Egyptian jail.
