Trollope, Anthony: - Anthony Trollope was a 19th-century British novelist who was born in London in 1815. Trollope's most famous series of novels is the "Chronicles of Barsetshire," a collection of six novels set in a fictional county in England. He is also known for his political novels, which include "Phineas Finn" and "The Prime Minister," as well as his travel writing and autobiography. Throughout his career, Trollope was widely read and respected, and he was a popular figure in Victorian literary circles. He died in London in 1882, leaving behind a legacy as one of the great novelists of his time and an important chronicler of Victorian society.
