Mimi Ray, spent a few of her childhood years on a farm in New Jersey. During her elementary years, she moved back to her place of birth, Baltimore, Maryland and life was never the same. Receiving her education in Baltimore City Public Schools, Mimi didn't feel challenged so she dropped out at age 14, pursing her GED and obtaining her first AA degree in Accounting at age 18. Currently she works as a Licensed Practical Nurse, passionately spreading her care to everyone who comes into contact with her. She accredits her big smile to her daughter Goddess, age 6, her son Da'God, age 15 and her supportive, encouraging friends and family. Mimi enjoys reading, writing and hanging out with friends. She is the author of the FML series and The Triple Cross: Love Is Not A Game LaKeita was born and raised in Nashville, Tn. At 34 years old she is a proud mother of four beautiful girls. She has written and self-published two books of a three book series titled Codes of the Streetz 1 &2. Although she didn't like to write she always found herself writing a lot. LaKeita started off writing poems for her mom when she was in trouble. The passion for writing grew into writing her own TV shows. Picking up her first urban novel at the age of 24, she began falling in love with the book world. Today Lakeita is currently working on her three book series Taste Like Kandi and other projects under Blaque Diamond Publications.
