Miller, George R.: - George R. Miller is a meteorologist by trade. Prior to retirement, he traveled extensively in eastern Oregon as the area manager and meteorologist in charge of Oregon for the National Weather Service/NOAA. Since retirement, he has written two books on the weather of the Pacific Northwest and has authored or coauthored three Images of America titles: Gresham, Kelso, and Portland Rose Festival.
