Moody, Elizabeth: - Elizabeth Lydia Moody grew up in an Air Force family in Edmonton, but she has spent most of her life in Montreal. She taught history and political science at John Abbott College and Concordia University in Montreal, then went on to work as a speechwriter on Parliament Hill and served as archivist to a former Prime Minister, the Rt Hon. John Napier Turner. She had the privilege of working in communications with the embassies of Korea, Vietnam, and Indonesia for many years, editing full- color books on bilateral cooperation with Canada. This novel is a reflection of her love of both family and history. A Habs fan, who will jump into any lake she comes across for a good swim and loves every dog she meets, Elizabeth is a member of both the 418 Squadron Association in Edmonton and the Canadian Legion.
