Tom Hunter opened his marine canvas business in 1987. He is a certified as a Master Fabric Craftsman by the Industrial Fabric Association International. He has served on the board of the Marine Fabricators Association over 15 years, including as Chairman. He has owned a boat since the age of 11 and still owns a boat today. He has multiple engineering degrees from Northeastern University in Boston. All of this combines to give Tom a unique perspective on boat top frame design.
