Cohen, Jan Z.: - Jan Cohen found her place in the world of Art the very moment she picked up a pencil as a toddler, and has not put it down since! She is a freelance illustrator, painter and ceramic artist, and has had the pleasure of teaching Art to children in her hometown for the past thirty years. She has loved sharing her passion for the Visual Arts with young people in her work as a teacher, and now in bringing characters to life as a children's book illustrator. This is her second children's book. She received her Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Art Education from Central Connecticut State University. She lives in Avon, Connecticut with her husband and two children.
