Harder, Martin: - Martin Harder retired from political life in 2022 after serving as the mayor of Winkler for four consecutive terms. He also served as president of the Winkler and District Chamber of Commerce. In 1995, he founded Delmar Commodities with his wife, Eleanor, with whom he shared three children and forty-six years of marriage, before she passed in 2014. Martin is inspired by Biblical studies and leadership within the church, community and business, and is a current member of Gospel Mission Church.

The author currently lives in Winkler, Manitoba, with his wife, Valerie, where they are blessed with a blended family of five children and eleven grandchildren. When not writing, Martin enjoys photography, camping, fishing and travelling with his family.
