The adventures she experienced at a young age growing up as one of fifteen siblings living on a ranch high in the mountains of Sonora, Mexico might cause many to cringe and disapprove. But being isolated from the outside world had a huge impact on her after leaving home at the age of seventeen. She was forced to confront a new world for which she was totally unprepared. It was like arriving on a foreign planet, learning everything all over again just to fit in. Fortunately, she met some people who were well educated and patient, who taught her how to adjust and adapt...and survive. But shortly after, she would quickly learn that this world had a cold and dark surprise in store for her.
