Denson, Calvin: - Calvin Denson was born in Atlantic City, New Jersey but grew up in Beaumont, Texas. His mother, Janice Boswell, was a teacher and instilled in him the importance of education in building a successful life. Following his mother's premature passing, Calvin focused his efforts on carrying on her work emphasizing education for youth.
