Dr. McClellan is a psychologist in private practice in Scottsdale, Arizona. She has been giving advice for over 35 years to people with a variety of family issues. However, her dream had been to become an accomplished photographer. She started taking photography classes with Arizona Highways PhotoScapes. One of those workshops was photographing hummingbirds in Madera Canyon. That is when she fell in love with photographing wildlife. She began to dream of places to go to continue that passion. That led to a trip to South Georgia in the Southern Ocean and several trips to the Antarctica to photograph penguins. While there, she met many penguins who shared their ideas. Advice from the Penguins is the result of penguins speaking to her and asking her to share their wisdom.
