Max is in 2nd grade and loves everything related to pirates, but he loves his parrot, Coco, the most of all. At first, Max thought that school was going to be fun. But his teacher keeps catching him daydreaming, he can never finish his work in school, and he struggles to read. Max starts to think he isn't smart enough for school ... until he uncovers the real problem.
