Life in 2048 is tough for everybody, but for a young girl named Kelly stuck in slavery on the dirt side of Witch City, existence is a living nightmare. She fled her captors in a last-ditch effort for survival, but she hadn't planned on running into that alley kid who was in even worse shape than she was. Angels is a return to Len Gizinski's dystopian world of 2048 about a month after the events of The Metal Within, where the fall of entire governments has left international corporate conglomerates to make the rules; non-corporate city areas are left to fend for themselves, highways between cities have become war zones, and grain blights have left most people living off corporate-created algae food substitutes.
