Paul holds a law degree and Ph.D. in communication from the University of Illinois at Urbana. He is a jury trial consultant with Decision Analysis, Inc. based in Los Angeles. His firm has worked in notable cases including O.J. Simpson, Whitewater, People vs. Phil Spector, Heidi Fleiss (Hollywood Madame), Casey Anthony (Tot Mom case), and People vs. Kwame Kilpatrick (Mayor of Detroit). Paul has taught at the University of Illinois, Loyola University Chicago, DePaul University in Chicago, and Pepperdine University's Institute for Dispute Resolution. He is a national lecturer for BarBri Bar review and speaks at conferences, corporate meetings and for government entities around the world. The Museum of Broadcast Communication in Chicago hosts the Paul M. Lisnek Gallery which is a permanent exhibit honoring Paul's life and career.
