This is a story about the Life and Times of Billy The Kid . Or formally known as William H. Bonney ! This Novel is based on many historical facts . It is both Fiction and Non Fiction . But it certainly tells the story of both William H. Bonney and the love of his life, Paulita Maxwell, and many other key players that did in all reality, live during the times of Billy the Kid . For example Billy Barlow . His life is a mystery in it's self . No I am not talking about the Billy Barlow that was a one year old in 1880, or the Billy Barlow that the song was made about over a hundred years ago . I am talking about the young half Mexican Boy around the age of 15 or 16, during the life time of Billy the Kid, who lived in Fort Sumner . And it is said he was friends with William H. Bonney and Celsa Gutierrez a former mistress of Billy the Kid's ! He was the young man who dressed and acted and imitated Billy The Kid . He copied his moves and wanted to be a Desperado, just like him ! History has told me that he did exist . And it is mentioned that he frequently hung out with Celsa Gutierrez . This Novel will take you back in time and make you feel like you where there ! Blazers Mill the Five Day Stand Off at the McSween House . The Lincoln County War ! These are all historical facts and mentioned in my Novel . This Novel is an example of the way it could have been . And I think I capture the essence of Billy The Kid's personality, both good and bad ! And he was good in a lot of way's as well ! It is unfortunate that he lived during such corrupt times ! Having to deal with crooked Sheriff Brady . Who a long with the Dolan and Murphy Organization, were responsible for the murder and the death of the Kid's beloved Boss John Tunstall !
