The Kazky workbook helps broaden vocabulary by introducing the diminutive form of nouns and the comparative form of adjectives.

Kazky is the 5th book in the Tut i Tam series which was developed to foster learning of Ukrainian by elementary school children who have some degree of fluency in Ukrainian, according to linguistic principles which suggest that aural and oral language development should precede the introduction of reading and writing of the language being learned. Its thematic approach also suggests an integration of the various disciplines in a language arts program designed to facilitate communication through listening, speaking, reading, writing, and viewing.
