A Midlife Crisis in Africa is the story of a couple in their late 40's joining the Peace Corps. Leaving family and friends behind, Lonnie and Kathy venture to Uganda where they hope they will be able to help others in need. Along the journey they develop life-long friendships with other volunteers, witness the good and the bad of their fellow man, and marvel at the wonders of this glorious planet. After struggling with feelings of loneliness and separation, dealing with Safari ants, hippos, and even a blind taxi driver, the couple's views of themselves and the world around them is changed forever.
