A Setup For Revenge

Cameron aka Babygirl is what most would consider a lost girl just trying to make it the best way she knows how. Growing up in an unhealthy environment with a pimp for a father and a drug addict for a mother, she seems almost invisible to both. Babygirl finds solace in knowing that there's at least one person who cares about her well-being; her stepmother, Alice. Alice takes on the role as protector for Babygirl, and her first order of business is getting her away from her abusive father. The decision is not only best for Babygirl but Alice as well.

Finding themselves in another state, it isn't long before Babygirl's father hunts them down and snatches that dose of freedom right from under Alice and Babygirl's sense of security. With no one left to lean on after being left to fend for herself, she befriends a girl with a story similar to her own. Lily, has had it rough, but had quickly learned that she was all she had in life. It made perfect sense for her to bond with a girl like Babygirl and show her the ropes of life as she'd learned it.

While Babygirl comes to know Lily as a loving friend who takes risks and marches to the beat of her own drum, she's oblivious to the red flags. With a past that could very well predict the future, will Babygirl be able to look past her love for her friend and see her for who she really is or will she fall victim to the cross?
