Martin, Mona L.: - I am a single mother of two boys, and I am a private home health-care aide. I was born and raised in Vermont, where I lived until I was fifty-two. I moved and lived in New York for seven years, dreaming daily of moving South to a warmer climate. My children are all grown, and I have two beautiful grandchildren, whom I love to spoil as much as I can. I am currently single and divorced, twice from the same man. After my divorce was final, I moved out of New York and back to my hometown, Vermont.I have always wanted to tell my story in hopes that some- one can relate to what I have been through. I have a passion for helping people get through trauma, mental illness, depression, and abuse. I have always been an empath and have so much compassion for others, and I feel that, because of what I have been through in my life, I can relate to a lot of things.I'm very excited to see what lies ahead for me. I love to change because I get bored easily. I truly love people and connections; I love learning about them and the experiences that they have had in life. I love to travel and spend time with my grandkids. I'm a simple and humble woman who genuinely loves people and places.Right now I am living my life the best way I know how, and I am loving every minute of it-healing, growing, and evolving every single day. I have become a certified life coach; I am an earth angel and healer. Someday I dream of finding the right person to spend the rest of my life with, someone with whom I can cocreate a dream life with equal give-and-take. I'm in no hurry as I know who I want, and he must be just as healed as I am. The next person I will be in a relationship with must be the best role model for my boys. I want them to know and see what a good, healthy relationship looks like.This girl has gained a ton of wisdom in her life. And if I can help anyone avoid the pain that I have gone through, that's what makes life worth it.
