Except for one summer spent sleeping in a truck in a concrete yard in Northern Ireland, Guy Martin has always lived within twenty miles of the Grimsby hospital where he was born on November 4, 1981. The truck mechanic turned "taytie" farmer has won multiple international road races and earned fifteen Isle of Man TT podiums.

He is also Channel 4's face of engineering and speed, becoming a familiar presence on prime-time television over the past decade. Guy has presented a series of critically acclaimed documentaries, taken on world records and travelogues, and fronted the popular, long-running series Speed with Guy Martin.
