Elva, Marta: - Marta Elva's novel, AMERICAN TUMBLEWEEDS, originally published in 2016, was a finalist for the SARTON WOMEN'S BOOK AWARD that same year. Marta's career in television production and independent film spans over three decades. She worked for such notable institutions as National Geographic and WNET, the flagship station of PBS, in New York City where Marta received several Emmy nominations. She also served on the Council of the Writers Guild of America East, the union representing screenwriters for the film and television industry. Marta now resides in Matlacha, FL.
