When you see "God," please think of your Higher Source connection to "That Which Creates All That Is." Your Spirit within is always connected to this Source, and you can trust that It has your Highest Good at Heart. "Ego" is the mind of our lower consciousness and where we come from when we think we're separated from this Source and from each other.

Autobiography: Dr. Sandy Islands is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and a Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor with over 35 years' experience. She is in recovery with 32 years clean and sober and practices her own spirituality path daily. She lives in southern California.
