Because of Biz: Book II

In this sequel to Biz's Journey Home, Jill Ainsley begins her senior year in high school trying to overcome a devastating loss that causes her to lose interest in everything. As her grades slip, Jill must confront her fear of going away to college, leaving her mother, Carol, in an empty nest. Carol hates to see her daughter suffer, but knowing that grief is a process, she allows Jill enough room to find her way, while hiding her own fear of being alone. Since the death of their father and husband, Logan, years before, they've been each other's rock. Can they be apart and flourish? We never know how much an act of kindness can change our lives. Years before, Jill and Carol welcomed Biz, a horse in need, into their hearts. They are beginning to understand how much it is impacting their present as well as their future. By helping Biz, they cement bonds that are opening doors to tremendous opportunities. All the wonderful things in their lives circle back to Biz. Everything, including the future, is brighter because of Biz.

Biz's legacy continues! In this novel of growth and change, mother, daughter, and horse learn to open their hearts to new, and sometimes scary, experiences. We often think of bravery as occurring in big dramatic acts, but sometimes, it's as simple as reaching past our own self-imposed boundaries. Rich in emotion and challenges, Because Of Biz will hold you captivated as you walk alongside Carol, Jill, and Abdul (yes, even the horse!)."
