Being Goldie (In a 'just-right'world)

It's autumn1984 and twins Goldie and Gilda Locks are on the move. Once again, they're headed to a hotel in a new location, they know nothing about awaiting further instructions from their overbearing Granny. The only parent they've ever known, the young ladies in their twenties, still struggle to break free from her influence. Neither is willing to give up the lifestyle Granny's millions afford even though her erratic behavior is becoming more questionable by the day.

Landing this time at a hotel on a tiny Midwest Island, mysterious strangers and questionable liaisons beckon the ladies to wonder if their whole life story has been hidden from them. With Goldies' self-obsession and insistence that life should be "just right" and Gilda's growing disillusionment, the twins deeper dive into their true identities threaten everything they thought they knew.

Can fresh eyes from new Mackinac Island friends steer them to truth and beauty, or are they part of a bigger plan to force continued servitude to Granny's devious intentions?
