Beyond Broken

My anxiety was on full-blast coming off a late-night bender. 26 beer cans scattered across my living room floor... What normally would sedate a person only had me wanting more... and more. I just couldn't drink enough to kill my crippling anxieties.

I reached out to my ex-wife... my EX-WIFE! The one I put huge blame on for destroying me. So low in life, and in an act of desperation, I was at her mercy. I was killing myself... The next thing I knew, I was on a conference call, thoughts running crazy in my head, ready to risk it all.

Luckily, with my ex-wife's stern push to regain control, and use of resources available through the job (I hated) to get help, I self-admitted into rehab. I booked a flight to California that would forever change my life. Tired, scared, frustrated, depressed, and filled with anxiety, I had lost control and was taking a leap of faith.
