Her father, Jozsef Bognar was one of the great leaders of the 1956 Hungarian revolution, rallying thousands of Hungary's citizen to take part in the greatest revolution for Freedom in the 20th century. When the Soviet authorities discovered her father's role in the revolution, they sent a death squad to her father's home to kill him. Fortunately, Joszef was warned shortly ahead of time, and the author, her mother, and father, escaped Hungary that very night, making a daring, last-minute escape from their beloved homeland. Judith BOGNAR Bean is a guest speaker on many radio shows and podcasts on the subjects of Patriotism, and the Atrocities of Communism and Socialism. Judith believes, that now, more than ever, "BITTERSWEET FREEDOM is mandatory reading due to the radical leftists who wish to transform America into a SOCIALIST/COMMUNIST state. Through the suffering of the Hungarian people during the Nazi Rule of Hungary during WWII, and Soviet conquest of Hungary during the 1956 Hungarian Revolution, Judith has first-hand knowledge of how those twisted ideologies only defile, degrade and disintegrate a country and her people. Per Judith, "We must learn from the mistakes of past history to keep us from repeating those mistakes in the future!"
