Blood of the Kami

Never trust a gift from a kami.

Yokai hunter Ren Fudō just wants to pay off his mountain of debt to the Yaseki Order and get on with his life. So when the goddess Amaterasu hands him a quick errand with a big payoff, it feels like his lucky day.

It isn't.

Fast forward a few ri down the road, Ren is stuck on a dangerous path alongside a timid shrine maiden who shares her headspace with an overprotective, violent land kami. Every step brings fresh yōkai trouble, escalating chaos, and proof that the gods have a terrible sense of humor.

With the fate of Japan suddenly riding on an errand boy and a ticking spirit bomb, Ren has to step up, help Suzume face her troubled past, and survive the wildest monster-slaying road trip of his life.
