Mounter, Norman: - "Dr. Mounter has three intellectual passions: medicine, history and literature. At forty-nine years of age, he is a full-time Histopathologist working on the Isle of Wight. The opportunity to develop his other interests - history and literature - came about when he was in his early forties. His two sons were no longer young children, and he had managed to secure a permanent consultant position. This led him to write his first novel, 'Bitching Bits of Bone'.
