Carousel Beach

A marriage torn apart by grief. A cryptic letter left on a grave. A secret promise engraved on a carousel horse.

When artist Maya Brice and her husband Vale move to the Delaware beach town where she spent her summers with her grandparents, Maya takes on the restoration of the historic carousel. But in one devastating day, Maya's world falls apart with the deaths of her grandmother and her unborn baby.

On the one-year anniversary of the deaths, the last animal of the carousel arrives-the horse that holds special memories for Maya. A mysterious inscription on the horse's belly and a cryptic letter left on her grandmother's grave lead Maya to the ninety year-old carver of the carousel.

While stripping chipped layers of paint from the old horse and peeling layers of fragmented memories from the old man, Maya untangles intertwined secrets of love, heartbreak, and misunderstandings, and discovers a path to forgiving herself.
