The battle for the future begins in the past as destiny calls and demands everything.

Adrielle Maddox is positive the worst is behind her. With the villainous Domenikos sealed within the scepter diamond, peace seems within reach. Then Angelo, a legendary Achaean warrior, is found wandering, lost and stripped of his memories, signaling that something's not right in the world.

Adrielle and her friends summon Monika, the old seer with the diamond scepter, who tells them Domenikos has found the path to the Time Vault where memories are created and stored. He has to be stopped before he wipes out all the memories and takes over the world. This means Adrielle must break Achaean laws against time travel and enter the diamond, find the key tunnel to the Time Vault, and seal its entry. And she has only twenty-four hours once she enters the Time Vault.

Coco, Liz, and Dave won't let Adrielle face this dangerous task alone. The facets in the diamond are tricky, and they tumble into their own time paths, ending up in sixteenth-century Florence where they encounter old friends.
