Christmas Memories

Adams Davis, Larue: - LaRue Adams Davis was born in Social Circle, GA on June 13, 1917. She graduated from Decatur Girl's High School in 1935 and over time received teaching degrees from Georgia State College for Women and Valdosta State College. LaRue taught first grade throughout her career in numerous schools beginning in Coosa, GA, and ending at Midway Elementary School in Decatur, GA. Mrs. Davis loved to teach children how to read and was an expert in grammar. She loved to write poetry. She was a selfless Christian mother with a unique personality and a robust sense of humor and was admired by many. She passed away on October 28, 2010, at age ninety-three.
